The other autograph has no value from a financial or historical perspective. Frankly, I'd remove it because it only detracts. Aesthetically it would be much more pleasing and display better. Also, it is far away enough from the Jeter where there is no risk of damaging the Jeter sig in the process. A little Goof Off on a clean cloth should remove it easily.

Completely agree - this would increase the value of the bat IMO. There's not much tying the bat to the other guy as it isn't branded with his name/signature.
