The postcards were issued in series, starting with the first HOF class and moving forward. The last several series usually included two years of inductees in each release. There were 4 different issues released, including Postcards, Celebration, Great Moments (larger sized) and Master Works.
As far as I know, there was not a concerted effort to have the postcards signed at the HOF. Most, if not all, were sold to collectors straight from PS Galleries on a pseudo-subscription basis. I ended up buying the last five or six series directly from PS, and the older ones generally on a one-at-a-time basis.
Personally, I think the artwork is top notch, and like that the cards are limited edition, unlike baseballs and photos. Also, I think in general, the PS cards were not forged in the same numbers as other mediums.
