BROOKLYN DODGERS PIECE &
SIGNED BY CAL ABRAMS
only one I can clearly make out is
"Cal Abrams which he signed and noted "1952 batting ave.328" ,
the lady depicted in the drawing playing the piano is Ethel Abrams
Cal's mother , see photo in other listing
In 1996 Abrams, who was Jewish, was inducted into the B'nai B'rith
Jewish American Sports Hall of Fame, in Washington, D.C.
Abrams died in 1997 after suffering a heart attack in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
He was buried in his Brooklyn Dodgers uniform
there are many other signatures
but none I recognize could be players wives or dodger training camp employees
the hand drawn and hand colored WATER COLOR
art work is signed "HEINZERLING" ??
it measures 20 x 16 all round the picture are signatures
the water color is on thick art board and stapled to a cardboard
