Studio photograph taken of a young Ty Cobb (believed to be 1907). This is a PSA/DNA authenticated Type III photograph, printed in the 1910's from a duplicate negative. It is not a Type I, but is approximately 110 years old. It was made by Apeda Studio in New York and has their logo on the front as well as a larger stamp on the back.
The photo measures 4.75" x 6.75" inches and presents very well. There is only light wear on the front, including an indentation just above Cobb's head, and a 3/4" crease in the left border that is reinforced by tape on the back. The back also has some black scrapbook residue.
