Anyhoo, back to the OP. Mid-Jersey...reminds me of an old joke:

A plane is heading for NY in a terrible storm and the pilot comes on the PA:

"Folks, due to the weather at Kennedy we're going to divert to Newark."

A drunk shouts from back:

"Newark? I'd rather crash in New York than land in New Jersey!"
