Default 1955 Spic n Span Braves rare diets

Thanks. Made a couple of deals. No longer available.

Of course, I meant die-cuts.

Rare cards, mild creasing and issues, but great eye appeal.

Description from REA auction where a set went well over $3000. Some sets have gone much higher. They are not listed on VCP and not a whole lot of them seem to change hands. I have been watching on eBay. These, of course are priced at a fraction of what the Dean's listings are. The last one I saw sell that wasn't cut up was a Logan with I recall went for $150.

These slightly oversized cards, which measure approximately 7.5 x 7 inches, were regionally issued in 1955 and feature members of the Milwaukee Braves in action poses with a small advertisement for Spic and Span Dry Cleaners and script signatures on front. These cards were designed with die-cut backgrounds that were punched out to allow each card to stand up. The "nooks and crannies" associated with the design of these die-cut cards make 1955 Spic and Span very condition sensitive, and technically high-grade examples particularly rare.

I can send much higher resolution scans.
