One of Ruth's best seasons - he would hit .393 on the year christening the new Stadium on day one with a home run and going on a season long terror and take home his only MVP.
On this day, late in September, he would go 2 for 3 with 2 walks and a STOLEN BASE! Was he showing up Cobb? You know Cobb had a good view from CF watching the big man slid into second safely.
