This card was issued to commemorate the opening of the Kansas City Ball Park on Thursday April 29, 1886. This would be the home for the Kansas City Cowboys during their one and only year in the National League. This information is contained on the card’s back, while on the front there is a beautiful albumen photograph of the team.
