For sale is a large scrapbook (14" x 11") titled "Our National Game" on the front cover along with a baseball scene. The inside pages feature six beautiful color prints depicting various baseball scenes titled "Home Run," "Foul Ball," "Wild Pitch," etc. The first page of the scrapbook has a copyright in 1887 by Liebenroth Von Auw & Co.
In addition to the six baseball prints, the scrapbook has 40 blank pages intended to have trade cards of the day pasted in, which was very popular in the late 19th century. Nearly all have multiple trade cards adhered (two sample pages shown below; there are no baseball themed trade cards or baseball cards).
As for condition, the front cover and several of the pages are detached from the binding. The pages themselves are fragile, but in pretty good shape. You can see the baseball pages have general wear, but would display very well.
