Default 1795 Half Dollar for Sale

1795 Flowing Hair Half Dollar- the Flowing hair design was used only for silver half dimes, half dollars, and silver dollars issued in 1794 and 1795, the first two years the U.S. Mint issued silver coins. This example, graded PCGS Fine 12, exhibits moderate wear consistent with a Fine grade. The coin has no major problems save a tiny nick in the obverse field. I hate to overuse the cliche "own a piece of history" but when in comes to United States silver coins issued in the 1790's, truly historic does apply. When these pop up on ebay, they are typically listed in the low to mid- $2000's. I can make this one available for...SOLD.

Check, money order, or paypal accepted (and I will pick up the fees). Will also consider trade offers in coins, baseball cards, or anything that I might find interesting. I will ship registered mail at my expense.

Please PM or email at bsloate@verizon.net if interested. Thanks for looking
