Vintage photos of Hall of Fame New York Yankees manager Miller Huggins.
1) George Grantham Bain issued photo of Huggins in his office. Typewritten caption on the back states "Slated to be Dropped by Yankees" and the date of October 1920. The Yankees were considering firing Miller at the end of the 1920 season. Good decision not to, as we all know the success he went on to have.
