Default FS: Hal Chase Signed Envelope 1939

Hal Chase signature in purple ink on the reverse of a mailing envelope dated October 27, 1939. The envelope is addressed to Charles Geer, a noted early autograph collector.

With the false start on the "H" and exploded pen, I find this to be a charming and oddly fitting Chase autograph piece. There are also a few scattered purple ink partial fingerprints on the envelope.

I don't have a cert on this, it was a quick ebay pickup and I was 95% certain it was good, but I did do a PSA Quick Opinion for backup and it came back as "Likely Genuine." I can send the PSA pdf for that and a pic showing the auto on ebay with matching listing number to the new buyer if wanted. In any case I guarantee authenticity forever.

Rare chance at a genuine Hal Chase auto.
