Update: The ball is now on Ebay as a straight auction and will end Saturday, March 31st.
FS: 1910 Spalding Official National League Cincinnati Reds team signed baseball.
In an ongoing effort to tighten up my collection, I'm letting this one go. The ball contains some of the earliest examples of T206-era player signatures you'll find, including Clark Griffith and Sleepy Bill Burns, and is among the earliest team-signed balls in the hobby. Additionally, the TJ Lynch Spalding ball is rare...even rarer still with the one year 1910 stamping.
Autos on ball:
-Clark Griffith (HOF)
-Larry McLean (extremely rare, died 1921)
-Sleepy Bill Burns (key witness for the prosecution in the Black Sox trial)
-Frank Roth
-Frank Bancroft
-Dick Hoblitzell
-JR "Dick" Egan
-Jack Rowan
-Tom Clarke
-Dode Paskert (light, above Clark Griffith)
-JC "Rube" Benton (partial, to the left of the 1910 stamping)
-Tom Downey (very light, below Larry McLean)
The Spalding ONL ball is in decent/good condition. Toned from a coat of lacquer and there is a broken stitch on the front panel. The TJ Lynch/1910 stampings are light but nearly fully readable. The signatures on the ball range from light to fairly dark, with a few spots of scuffing affecting signatures.
Comes with both PSA and JSA certificated of authenticity.
