I picked up this 1941 All-Star game ball signed by the umpire crew earlier this year but it doesn't fit my collection. Below is the description that came with it. Included, is an EX/MT (mild toning) OAL (Harridge) baseball signed in blue/black ink (7-8) by an umpire crew, including
Bill Summers on the sweet spot,
Lou Jorda and
Bill Grieve on the west panel and
Babe Pinelli on the north. The ball has a top coating to preserve the strength and quality of the signatures, and a notation on the south panel ALL-STAR UMPIRES 1941.
