There's a pretty strict size limit on images that you upload, though. Something like 19K max.
All of my high res images are an order of magnitude or two bigger than this so the upload has never worked well for me.
I've used lots of the hosting services mentioned but have gravitated to Google Photos since it syncs easily with images on my PC and phone.
