Is PWCC or Probstein good? It seems they just list these on ebay anyway? What's the benefit going through them? Just convenience?
Would the auction houses even take something like this?

There is a buy/sell/trade section on this forum. I buy most of my stuff from fellow members now. There is not that big of audience but there is also no fees and a way better chance of a smooth transaction than eBay.
PWCC & Probstein can be used in several ways.
It can be a convenience so you don't have to do the same exact thing they are doing. I personally never have used either, those that have report mixed results on prices realized.
