A friend of mine claims to have a game worn Bo Jackson jersey worn during his Heisman season at Auburn. There is every reason to expect this is authentic (I've not seen it yet). He is not a collector and on e considered giving it away to a co-worker.
I noticed one sold for $10.6k a couple years ago. This one was apparently worn during his game with Mississippi State.

He is considering turning it over to me to sell.
I never used anything but EBay to sell anything.
My guess is this is something that sells from an auction house or a top line dealer.
Where should I sell this? What should I expect (fees, taxes etc.)?

My guess is this may garner about $12 k or so.
