FS: 9/11 Game Used Patches from NY Mets Jersey - Framed

This is a professionally framed piece with two GAME USED 9-11 Patches from an Official New York Mets Road Jersey. The Jersey originated from a sale directly from the New York Mets. The 9/11 Memorial Flag patch was removed from the jersey with the sleeve patch and framed (non-hanging frame). There is also a nameplate which explains the patches.
Mike Piazza hit one of the most dramatic home runs in the history of New York on Sept. 21st against the Braves in the 8th inning. This was the first sporting event that was in New York following the 9/11 attacks. On the 21st of September the Mets had these patches stiched into each jersey for the remainder of the 2001 season.
It is nearly impossible to find these patches or game used jersey's featuring the patches but here you have both in an incredible framed piece!
