In 1930 two buddies from Chicago traveled by train to L.A. who were big Cubs fans.They attended the National Baseball Camp that spring. They took the steam ferry over to the Catalina Island to watch the Cubs for spring training. The other photos are of the steam ferry trip and showing interesting sites along the way. Also a few of tourist spots in L.A.
