This is one of those situations where a co-worker has asked me to look at his baseball that he was given as a child and sell it for him. He is not a collector and really could not give a darn about sports but was given this ball by a distant relative back in the '60's as a form of "thank you" for being a pen pal and taking an interest in an old man (this is how it was explained to me). He has held onto this ball all this time and in a conversation about my many years of collecting he brought this ball in to get my opinion and sell it for him.
This ball is not varnished or coated
The signatures are between a 5 and 6
There are 27 signatures on this ball
This ball is from the first year the Giants were in San Francisco and is based on the fact that Jim King is on this ball and 1958 was the only year he played for the Giants. I posted this ball in the autographs section of Net54 so you can see the thread there but clicking on this link.
