Default USPS intercept is a joke. Don't ever try it.

Ordered a box of cards off of Amazon and accidentally had it ship to the wrong address. Noticed the error through tracking, right after it had shipped from the first USPS location, and initiated an intercept. It stopped at two locations on its way to the destination and apparently nobody noticed that it had been intercepted and decided to send it out for delivery. Well, since it was an apartment with a small mailbox the item was undeliverable and it got returned. It's in the process of being returned, and guess what, it'll stop at 3 more locations and not be intercepted. Complete waste of time, so if any of you are considering it don't waste your time.

Oh, and don't bother calling USPS to try and get someone on it. I called at least half a dozen times and the wait time, each time, was over 50 minutes.
