Having hit 119 years ago (sold

), I can say I don't recall many (if any) caramel stains ....... unlike many Cracker Jack ......
........ interesting, never really thought of it, BUT, you have to figure there was some sort of "protection" between card and candy (or maybe the candy only "melted in your mouth -- not in the package"
)
Never seen a wrapper.
