A Christy Mathewson Type 1 Photograph 5x7 by noted photographer Paul Thompson.
Outstanding photo, full body pitching pose in the dark NY Giants uniform.
I think it is a 1911 World Series photo.
Mathewson NY Nat is written in pencil on the verso and a partial very faint Paul Thompson stamp is visible though it is not visible in my scan. The arrow I placed on the scan in the third picture shows you where the faint Thompson imprint is. Only a few letters are visible to the naked eye but it is Thompson.
The photo is in fine condition.
