I just came across this thread. A lot of awesome info about the set in here. I have been working on a 1987 Topps autographed set for just about a year. I am currently at 233, still have along way to go. I have most of the HOFers and Semi-stars. I have been upgrading and picking up certified cards out of the 2016 Topps Archives release. I am hoping that next years Archives release will focus on the 1987 design for the 30th anniversary. Maybe they will get a bigger selection of signers for the release as well. I have yet to try getting any through the mail, but I may start as it seems to be a great way to get some of the tough players
