As far as I can tell from the search functions, its been a couple years since there was a thread discussing
Buck Barker's writing on the backs of cards. Recently had a chance to read Old Cardboard's
"Meet Buck Barker" write-up by George V. Good 10 minute read for those that want to know more about a hobby pioneer and the days when things ere a lot simpler (and slower).
There are lots of examples of Barker's research, attention to detail, and recording of provenance on the backs of cards across the collecting spectrum. Show 'em if you've got 'em.
