Default August. A month of a couple firsts.

Although I was already happy to admit I did neither in my time as a collector, August has been a month of a couple firsts.

On August 5, for the first time, I had a card graded by PSA. I had it graded at the National. I was worried about the bottom left border on a T206 red border and I offered the guy I bought the card from a compromise. If the card came back authentic, he would get the card back. If it came back a numeric grade, I would keep the card. It graded PSA 1 Poor.

Today, I have consigned for the first time to any of the auction houses in this hobby a card. The following will be in the upcoming REA auction:
