Default F/S: 1930s/40s LONG ISLAND BROADSIDE BASEBALL

If you're into the history of the NYC area or more specifically, Long Island baseball history you'll find this piece interesting. If you Google James Barton you'll find he was a famous Vaudeville and Broadway actor who had a passion for baseball. So much so he had a stadium that held 7,000 on the grounds of his home.

He promoted local games. This piece shows his team is named The Long Islanders and they seemed to play local and possibly non-local (Detroit) teams. They also played House of David.

I would put this piece right around 1938-40.

$30ppd. Pm please. Thanks for looking. -peter
