This is a single signed ball from Dizzy Dean. It was also inscribed and dated by him. It is also game used from his final pitched game for the St Louis Cardinals, with a date of 9/8/1937. Comes with a full LOA from JSA as well as a letter of provenance detailing the history of the ball and its game use.
The inscription above the signature is in the hand of Dizzy Dean...possibly a reference to jail time? Seems to read some dollar amounts & 30 days then another word followed by a question mark. Typical Dean sense of humor.
Finding any Dizzy Dean game used ball is a tough task. Let alone one from an important game such as this.
