Actually did a little check in my Baseball Encyclopedia (1984 edt.

). There is a close one:
Blondie Purcell -- In
1879 pitched for both Syracuse (22) and Cincinnati (2). BUT list only C-1 (plus OF-57). If it was C-2, we might have a winner. The other 1879 pitchers either played only for one team, or never listed as catching.
