Default FS: 1915 and 1916 World Series Programs Babe Ruth's First!

I have acquired a group of rare and highly desirable World Series programs. I wanted to post here first the ones that I am looking to turn around.

1. 1915 Boston Red Sox World Series program. Game 3. Dutch Leonard hurls a three hitter outdueling Grover Alexander 2-1 as Duffy Lewis drove home Harry Hooper with two outs in the ninth inning.

The program itself is in very nice shape. There is a vertical crease, which is very common of such programs and scorecards of the era. The spine has a one inch tear and is otherwise complete and strong. There is some light toning and a very light water stain at the top left corner. The Red Sox team photo on the back cover is clean and clear, with unobtrusive (and on topic) pen writing in the border. Program is scored in pencil by the lucky fan who was there that day. Overall in very good condition.

2. 1916 Boston Red Sox. Game 5. Ernie Shore allows just three base runners over nine innings to lift the Red Sox to their second straight World Series title.

The 1916 Program is far tougher to find than its 1915 counterpart. This example has had some unobtrusive restoration, including reattaching the cover. There is some wear at the spine and some minor creasing throughout. There is some minor staining to the very bottom of some of the pages. Overall in good condition and visually even better.

Asking $2,250 for the 1915 World Series program
