Curious, and this is a total rookie question so go easy on me, but why are some cards with same/similar grades so much higher than others already? I see some commons for a few bucks and I see some getting up way there comparatively?
None of these are HOF's or stars that I am aware of, so is it just peeps needing those particular cards as they were likely harder to get?
I wanted this card back some time ago but it got way outbid on me and now I see it heading that way again??
What is with this Walker Cooper guy that I don't know about? I wanted his card as he had the exact same first and middle name as my son but until I joined this site I had never heard of him before?

This card is beautifully centered, so it'll go for a premium. Being that it is a 52 Topps, who knows what it will end at. It's the premiere Topps set... ever.
Another reason, outside of the card itself, is the PSA registry.
He's got other cards like 1948-1953 Bowman and 1956,57,60 Topps, not to mention a few oddball sets that could be even cheaper, if you aren't headstrong on the 52 Topps.
