Richard, I know this will probably fall on deaf ears, but I will say it anyway. Much the same way you are welcome to share your random thoughts. I have no idea what that Ruth would sell for if authentic, but I don't think even you could deny that it is not an attractive card by any stretch of the imagination. It is not an insult, but rather my opinion. I wouldn't own a card like that, period. If I had an authentic T206 Wagner like that, I would immediately try to sell it for whatever the market would allow.

I don't post here all that often and feel as though my collecting interests only grazes the boundary of most of the members who regularly post. I feel more comfortable on some of the other forums when it comes to sharing items and knowledge. I can put all of my prewar cards into a super shoe box comfortably. Certainly a member should not be ridiculed for a differing collecting interest, but this is a forum known primarily for prewar interests. To keep pushing Ben McDonald and Moises Alou cards kind of begs for the response you continue to get. Your replies do nothing to help your case either.

Imagine if you went to a very fancy high end steak house/restaurant and the waiter was trying to sell you a hot dog. That would seem odd to most. Ben McDonald is the hot dog in this steak house!
