Bill you didn't overlook anything. I see this happen all the time. Most likely a mistake by the seller.

I've seen seller's list players with the wrong names quite frequently and listing players who aren't HOF players even more so.

On the other hand I think that some of them do it to try and sell the card and hope that some people don't know.
