I had not heard of this prior (John, again, thank you) - all was fine on first few snipes - then this. I had several snipes in w/a lot of auction style listings ending last night, typical Sunday night, etc. Some things came in well below what I had sniped at - and relatively low at that.
I also won a few that I thought went well lower than I had anticipated - which made me question if that had hit others last night as well.
John noted this usually happens Sunday nights - I would think that's the worst possible time to run spider/bot cleaners as many they "clean" are "good" bots - real human bids/traffic. As noted, i would bet there are a few consignors to PWCC who last night got a ROI far less than they had expected.
