Default Interesting New 1966 Catfish Hunter Variation...

I noticed this thick, green streak running across Jim Hunter's jersey on his 1966 card, so I started looking through ebay, etc., to find other examples, but I came up empty. The exact same photograph is used in a number of places, but it is a stock photo, so it's probably just a weird (one time only?) printing aberration that just happened to wind up being photographed for eternity.

But here's where it got interesting (yes, I guess I'm playing fast and loose with the word "interesting"). Another variation suddenly appeared to me. On a small number of these cards, there is a relatively large, glowing orangey shape near his armpit. It is a recurring defect and seems to emerge from the coloring of the player walking in the background.

So grab 'em up while you can!!

Spelling "Yastrzemski" correctly without needing to look it up since the 1980s.
