I had posted a few weeks back about starting a project to capture the various Yankee and Highlander uniforms from 1903 thru 1945. Its seemed, after hearing from some members, this had not been attempted by many and to make sure I had enough wall space
. Well, I decided to jump in head first on this project.
Using
Dressed to the Nines as my base line for all the different uniforms I found there are 49 unique over the 1903-1945 time period (not included are the various hat and stirrup changes.) This includes 16 special issue uniforms for WWI, WWII, Red Ruffings Discharge, Huggins, etc. (If you'd like the list let me know. It will eventually be on my website.)
So, to the important stuff, the actual photos. I have recently picked up 5 of the 49 between eBay and RMY. All are Type 1 photos, which is a requirement for this project. Feel free to contact me if you have any additional photos and don't hesitate to tease me with some tougher to find. I'm planning to use this thread to capture my project over the coming years.
