Hey Y'all, up for auction are 6 Clemente items, including:
1958T base card:Very clean , and yes, the card is really THAT colorful. (One of my favorite poses of him and I think we all got lucky, as he is one of a very few cards with a full-body pose in an otherwise portrait-dominated set).
1947-1966 Exhibit: Another very clean card with better contrast in color tone than the scan reveals.
1967 Topps Pin-up: More very clean. No splitting along folds, just the tiniest of a "natural pin-hole" dead center.
1970 Topps Poster: Yet more very clkean, except approx an 1/8 split along two folds - right-center and bottom-right.
1969 Topps Decal: Yet another more very clean item. The darkness at the top off the scan is just the way it scanned.
1971 Topps Coin: Not as clean as the others. Roberto spent many decades loose in a cigar box, frottaging his friends. Eventually, they chipped a bit along their rims which in turn turned dark.
**
Of note: In most of these scans you might notice little bits of "snow" (white spots). These spots are not on the items. This is due to me scanning in the dark with the lid up on my scanner and some little outside light sneaking through the process, resulting in scanner "artifacts"
