Default Variations in the E121 set - Everett Scott

I was skimming auctions on EBay, and I found several different-looking images for Everett Scott's E121 card. Three are attributed to the Series of 80 issue, while one is attributed to the Series of 120 issue. (I'm going to try to attack an image of the four cards.) The differences are related to how the "E" in Everett lines up with the second "S." in the position. In the Series of 120 card, the "E" is well to the right of the "S", over the dash. In the other three, it centered, shifted to the left a little and shifted to the right a little. Are these differences due to different printings, and if so, would they also correspond to the different back types? I'm trying to understand what constitutes a variation in this set, and what is just different.

Let's see if I can get that image attached.
