Up for sale is a 1947 Major League Baseball Guide - Facts, Figures, Rules Book w/ Stan Musial on the cover and Sophie Kurys on the back. The inside is full of statistical information and a few photos, including Ted Williams and Bob Feller, among may others. The spine is a little brittle (See Feller image), but the book holds up quite nicely.
Kurys, for those who don't know, was a player in the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League ("AAPBL") and in 1946 reached base 215 times and stole 201 bases in 203 attempts! Move over Rickey Henderson!!
