Default Circa 1990 Baltimore Oriole Archive

For sale is a nice circa 1990 Baltimore Oriole archive in the original Memorial Stadium envelope. Included are 14 Morton Tadder ( Official Oriole Photographer for over 40 years ) Black and White Publicity Photographs and all are autographed. The signers are Cal Ripken Jr, Frank Robinson, Jim Palmer, Ellie Hendricks, Rene Gonzalez, Gregg Olson, Randy Milligan, Brady Anderson, Dave Johnson, Bill Ripken, Joe Orsulak,Mike Devereaux, Mickey Tettleton, and Bob Melvin. All photos are in great shape with the exception of the Melvin which has some creasing and appears to be on thinner stock. The back of the Tettleton photograph explains the "publicity purpose" of the images. See scans. All autographs are personalized to "Mabel" who possably was an Oriole employee at the time. Also included is a color rendering of the "New Downtown Ballpark" which is the present Camden Yards.
This lot also includes 36 Oriole Postcards from the late 1970 to 1990 period. Six are autographed- Rick Dempsey and Don Buford personalized to Mabel. Mike Boddicker, Kevin Hickey, Steve Finley, and Bob Melvin are not personalized.
Completing the lot are are an unopened French-Bray card set from the same time period and 2 photographs of a casual nature. One pictures Ellie Hendricks and the second an unidentified player.
This is a very interesting grouping for the Oriole collector and represents the collection of someone apparently close to the Oriole family.
Additional scans are available. Email garypass57@yahoo.com.
$135 PP. Thanks.
