Also buying an Ebay gift card (which I have seen at Publix also without a discount though) is a nice sneaky was to spend money on Ebay without the wife knowing it, as it shows up on the credit card bill as PUBLIX.  |
You guys would have appreciated an article I read a while back about when the government was trying to introduce dollar coins into circulation. They had a deal where you could buy as many as you wanted with a credit card and free shipping. A few people figured out you could charge 10s of thousands of them on an Amex and then deposit them in the bank and pay off the bill. They were flying around the world for free with the bonus miles. By the time I heard about it, it was too late.
