My favorite card was the '33 Goudey Gehrig. Though I knew it was a reprint, and therefore worthless, I still cherished it, and it was one of the few cards that remained in a hard plastic screw-down case, even as Will Clark rookies were relegated to mere plastic sheets. Anyway, fast forward 28 years, and I re-discovered the hobby and fell in love with vintage all over again. My second vintage purchase was a '33 Gehrig that was actually generously graded an SGC '50. I loved it, but it did not fully fill the void. Finally, this year, I was fortunate to be able to buy an upgrade that gets me excited every time I look at it. My favorite purchase of 2015 and my favorite material possession.
That Gehrig is SICK! (Incredible!)

Peace, Mike
