I will use this thread to post additional vintage basketball items (1940s high school uniforms, miscellaneous paper, and other odd stuff) but I figured I would start it with three actual basketballs for sale.
The first ball pictured might not be a basketball at all, or it might be from another country. It has the laces like an early American basketball would have, but it also has a "blow hole" although that could have been added later. The material also does not feel like pre 1930 leather. I am guessing this ball is from the 1950s but I do not know for sure. It has pen scribbles all over panels but those might be able to be cleaned. I am asking 40 dollars plus shipping for this ball.
The second ball is a Sam Jones Champion 76 Seamless Official ball from the 1960s or 1970s. The ball has scuff and dirt marks all over it and the signature area has some scuffing too. I am asking 30 dollars plus shipping for this ball.
The third ball I have for sale is a Pennsylvania Official ball from the 1960s (maybe the 50s?). It has a lot of wear including separation at some seams. I would like 20 dollars plus shipping for this ball.
