Tony, that's awesome. You've obviously focused almost exclusively on non-Piedmont/SC cards, and I'm drooling with envy at what you've got. My approach to collecting the Monster has been a little different. I've been working on the set of different fronts (currently up to 353!), while trying to pick up tougher backs when I see them at a reasonable price, all with an eye for bargains, because my budget is limited. All but nine of the T206s in my tally above are raw, and there are only a few (no more than half a dozen, if that) for which I paid more than $100 (and only one for which I paid more than $200). I have a strong preference for good eye appeal, so I have a lot of cards with inconspicuous creases or other minor flaws that would knock down their technical grade, but which look very nice at first glance (and usually at second glance). Kind of a middle ground between those who collect beater sets and those who collect only mid-to-high grade cards, though I do have quite a few that would probably grade a 5 or better if I ever got them graded.
