I have a group of 39 Western Union telegrams that date from 1936-1944 that I am looking to sell as one lot. The breakup value here is tremendous. These should fetch $15-40 each if sold individually.

The majority of the telegrams were sent by, or received by, Mickey Cochrane. There are also several that were sent by or to Kennesaw Mountain Landis. A few are mundane, but most have baseball topics. Some concern trades or player assignments.

A wonderful group of items that give some insight to the inner workings of baseball at the time. True history.

I am asking $400 for the entire lot.
