Default Purchased something besides baseball cards

This week I did something I haven't done in awhile. Used my extra money to buy something besides baseball cards

My sister has been after me to buy a Fitbit activity band, so I bought this one on Amazon for $138 and so far I've been enjoying it. It interesting to see not only how it tracks activity, but also your sleep.

AcuRite Weather Staition Amazon $108 I was in Texas a week ago visiting my sister, and my BIL Mike had one of these. I already have a manual rain and temperature gauge and this measures wind speed and other measurements too. Set up in a flash (I mounted it atop my bird feeder) and seemed like a heck of a bargain.

Finally a Stamina 1215 rowing machine Amazon $234. I quit smoking in 1983 and have been into fitness ever since then. I've had "gym quality" ellipticals and had to repair them when they broke. Repairs can get expensive. Last breakdown involved axle parts, so I just trashed it. My next door neighbor gave me a used Wal-Mart elliptical and of course it's not as smooth as the "gym quality" machines I've had in the past but I think I actually get a better workout. If it breaks I'll just replace it. I wanted an additional cardio machine to place in front of my bedroom TV during football season, and thought I'd try a cheap rowing machine.
