Default Update

Thought I would update this thread since others may find this useful in the future.

To avoid the hassle of trying to get something overseas, I went with the black Lighthouse VARIO three-ring binder. These are a very good quality IMO and came with the slipcase I wanted. They are $50.00 on their website but cheaper on Amazon, where I got mine. If you get the larger version, it will hold about 80 sheets - room for about 1,600 cards.

I think these are mostly used by stamp collectors, but they work great for cards, too. Thick cover and the rings are a rectangular shape with flat edges on both sides to keep from damaging the cards nearest to them. I am not sure if they have tobacco card pages but that was a non-issue for me since theirs have a black background and you can't see the backs of the cards. I am using the standard BCW tobacco card pages and using my own also allows me to use the BCW post-card sized pages, which holds graded cards.

Very happy with this binder. They are hard-cased and made out of a leathery type of material. I feel so much better with having the slipcase to enclose the binder and protect the cards. For those that go the binder route for their storage, I'd recommend this option.
