Great, detailed note from MooseDog.......I will likely be selling at some point because no one in my house is really interested in the stuff. I don't see donating it to any type of museum, library or otherwise as, in the case with Burdick's stuff, they just don't have the space to display it and even storage can be an issue as well. I just don't think they want the stuff ultimately. If you want to benefit someone like a museum or library, sell the stuff and give them the money. I would like to think I will designate a few pieces for each of my kids to hang onto but ultimately, who knows......the estate planning is a great note as is proper wills as issues after death are and can be really confusing and taxing--both from attorneys and from the state/government.
