I think the point of it is that it should not be a discussion. I give the seller credit for tolerating all of the posts that have trampled his selling attempt. If I owned a card of this caliber I would want to maximize it. I dont know anything about the seller but maybe this is his ticket and he does not want to waste it.
After reading enough of the for sale threads it is obvious that the thing which sparked the discussion is the lack of askng price combined with the fact it is a highly desired combo and a lot of jealous people that would love to own it.
The selling tactic here is not unheard of on here. Do the people that are genuinely offended by the post and their disgust if seeing it treat other posts the same way? That would really discourage other people trying to sell things.
As far as not doing what you say you might do, "so what". It is his card. There are far worse tactics to try and sell something. I read the thread about the snyder card and it seems there are lots of people here that have strong opinions about what others should and should not do, when in reality it is not even the slightest bit of yheir concern of were even asked for their opinion.
I will go back to not saying anything now. Good luck with your sale. I hope you get 30k and end this thread with everyone that wants the card at a steal pounding sand.
