Joe Doyle (he of the 22-21 career W-L record) is not the dead ball equivalent of Derek Jeter.
Correct, this was a average player being mistaken for a non HOF star that shared the same last name.
I closer analogy would be a David Rollins card being mistaken for Jimmy Rollins.
